With yellow, CO 40 sts. Work 32 rows St st.
Shape Shoulders
K4, k2tog 6 times, k8, k2tog 6 times, k4 – 28 sts
P4, p2tog 3 times, p8, p2tog 3 times, p4 – 22 sts
Work 2 rows St st. BO.

 Head
With white, CO 22 sts. Work 2 rows St st. K2, k into front and back of each st to last 2 sts, k2 – 40 sts
Shape Head
*K3, k2tog; rep from * – 32 sts
*K2, k2tog; rep from * – 24 sts
*K1, k2tog; rep from * – 16 sts
K2tog across – 8 sts
Leave a long end and thread through remaining sts and pull tight to close. Do not cut tail.
