This is my first ever tutorial placed on You Tube. I now have newer clearer videos available. I decided to leave these old videos on here because they are still being used by hundreds of people. I know the picture is poor quality. The actual tension and creating the stitches start at the3:00 mark. This is Part one for beginners The Bethintx method. knotless chain.

its really weird to watch some one crochet. im 13 and like my mom knows how to and i learned from her and its just weird watching someone
I am a senior in high school now and want to learn to crochet like my mom before i live on my own.my mom and both my grandmas crochet alot and they are really good at it. there are alot of blankets lying around the house that they did. they make it look so easy. i really want to learn how to make baby clothes so i can make some when i have a baby in the future. i still have some booties that my grandma made for me when i was a baby in my memory box

I was wondering why there was so much time spent on explaining the yarn, but then I learned something anyway despite knitting for a few years

This video was good, but I think it would be a little easier to follow if white yarn was used. or a different color, like maybe yellow, or a light green, only because the peach colored yarn kinda blends in with the hands I think

@chetos17 I do not have a doll tutorial specifically, but I do have a crochet lesson series called Back To Basics. It covers most crochet stitches. Go to my channel by clicking on my neame and then go to the search bar and type Back To Basics.

i really don’t speak a lot of english but im trying to understand this tutorial i was wondering if you have a tutorial of how to make a doll or something like that in crochet my mom told me the chains for that kind of work was diferent
@peacegirl613 You have got to understand my teaching is for beginners. You should learn your alphabet before learning to write a novel. By the way, there is an annotation linking to the new version of this video; there is also a link in the description. This video has had over a million views and had been on You Tube for 4 years. It was the first video I ever up loaded. The newer videos are clearer and more to the point. Next comment try to be less rude. You will get more help that way.

@Switchyboo don’t take the criticism so personal. Your dealing with a lot of people and a lot of personalities. That is what happens when you put yourself out there. Take the good and the bad…geez

I’ve got the part where you make the chain down (i think) but I’m having trouble putting the hook back through the first loop that the tail is going through… meanwhile, when I stop, I pull on the end and the whole thing turns back into a single thread
