1 ball 8ply dark brown disco
1/2 ball white disco
Size 10 needles (3.25mm)

Using brown wool cast on 28 stitches
Knit into front and back of each stitch (56 stitches)
Knit 11 rows stocking stitch in brown starting with a purl row
Row 12 – K 2 brown *2 white 5 brown* repeat to end of row, ending with 3 brown
Row 13 – P 3 brown 2 white, 5 brown 2 white to end of row
Row 14 – K 1 brown *4 white, 3 brown* repeat to end of row
ending with 2 brown
Row 15 – P 2 brown, 4 white, 3 brown (following Row 14)
Row 16 – K 6 white, 1 brown to end of row
Row 17 – P 1 brown, 6 white to end of row
Row 18 – Break off brown, knit across row in white
Row 19 – Purl across in white
Row 20 – K 2 together across row
Row 21 – P 3 together across row

Thread white back through remaining stitches, draw up and stitch up sides.
Decorate top with a strip of holly and red ribbon
Cut a round of cardboard for base and fill with sweets
